Hi there. My name is Chris. I’m kind of shy in real life, but occasionally I get all sorts of open on this blog. Thanks for stopping by!

I live in Austin, TX with my husband and our dog, affectionately referred to as “The Doofus” herein. (The dog, not the husband.) I started running in high school, because I was fat. I kept running in college, because I was obsessed. Now as an adult, I run because I don’t know what else I would do with myself.

As far as day job goes, I’ve been a technical writer most of my adult life, except for two dreamlike years I spent working in a running store.
